Excellent food and service

Fat Cats is a hidden jem. Eat where the locals eat, greasy spoon. Food is great, well the breakfast is. We have never been there for anything but breakfast. Huge portions of good ol southern eats. You dont think catfish and breakfast, but you would be missing out. Ladies are great, place is always packed full of locals and it has yet to disappoint. If you dont try a meal here, you dont know the south.

Just when you thought you had the best...... You run across Far Cat's - you have to pay attention; don't miss it.This is different- they undoubtedly bread their own shrimp, large Osters and fish.... Order the seafood plate (they were out of from legs; but we WILL be back).After enjoying fresh seafood since loving in the area: this is the best we've had/freshest/cleanest tasting and Bob greasy. Recommend highly... Will be back.

Had the catfish filets. Very tasty. This is a no frills little restaurant. The night we ate there, there were obviously a lot of locals there. There's no better recommendation than that.

Food is typical diner, but a good price. The portions are very large.

Best meal in town! Walk in roll out for about 11.00! Fantastic food great service!

Excellent food and good service

We wondered upon Fat Cat Seafood while out on evening drive. We're so glad we did. We met some friendly people outside who saw me taking a picture of the sign. He said, they're not locals or something to that effect. They said they go twice a day, most days. That was an awesome recommendation. We loved the food and extreme hospitality. We'll be back!!

The portions were lacking but for the price it was a solid experience.

Pretty good buffet, pork was a little salty. Staff was friendly and on point.

Experience was different this time.I shared to waitress that my all meat omelette did not have bacon or sausage. It tasted like hamburger meat.Mmy husband got a classic meal so I ate his bacon and sausageOther than that it is pleasant.

I only had the salad bar, with which I was not impressed. My boyfriend, however, had roast from the lunch buffet and really enjoyed it. Buffet price is $7.99, I believe.

We have been here several times when we come for a yearly family reunion and it has always been good. Not this year! The catfish filets were a little bit of fish in a lot of over-cooked breading, the salad bar was bad, 2 members of our group got rib eye steak and absolutely could not eat it, it was so bad! A VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! We will NOT be back.

The chicken fingers and fries were great, but the grilled catfish was out of sight! I was afraid the grilled catfish might be sort of bland, but it was outstanding with the spices they used. I had it with baked potato and salad bar. Everything was just excellent. Service was outstanding, too. And the prices are very reasonable. It is sort of a Small Town Country Restaurant. Nothing fancy.
